BTNH Interview with Lindy Benton of EA Holdings

A $30 Billion opportunity is enough to get anyone’s attention. That certainly includes Lindy Benton, CEO of EA Holdings. Through its operating units, National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA) and Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA), Lindy aims to eliminate paper from the medical and dental fields to not only save a ton of money, but also enable medical and dental professionals to focus more on health care.

BTNH Interview with Bert DuMars of Newell-Rubbermaid

When it comes to figuring out what sort of background you’d want in your digital marketing maven, Bert DuMars is an interesting case study.  He’s now Vice President of e-Business and Interactive Marketing for Newell Rubbermaid, but got there via stints at a nuclear power plant, Dell, Intel and the IRS!  …or as Bert put it, “the fun side of the IRS,” focused on the e-file program and getting the refunds sent out.

Social Media and Natural Disasters

Two months ago today, I drove as fast as possible back to Tuscaloosa, AL, a place I'd called home for the past four years. I drove back to numerous friends and a brother who still lived in my beloved college town, which had just been ripped apart by an EF5 tornado the day before. Living in Atlanta now, I depend on social media as a means of staying connected to all those people and activities in Tuscaloosa, and on April 27, 2011, I depended on it to know whether or not people I cared about were alive or not.

Introducing the Newest Members of Our Staff

Please join us in welcoming the newest members of The Proven Method staff, Lily Leung and Eric Ethridge!!

Great Professional Service Testimonial

We recently received an excellent customer testimonial for our professional services team:

"I wanted to send a special note to tell you how well-received your product was. It was presented at the end of our IT update.  We nailed the presentation and showed off the power and ease of use of what you guys have developed.

Are We Too Connected??

In a world where so many of us embrace the connectivity that smart phones, social media and the Internet  provide us, is there such a thing as being too connected? Are some of us too dependent on being connected to someone at any given time? Could we even be hyper-connected?

The Beauty of Social Media: Everyone's Different

“Social media is about relationships, conversations, communities and participation.” –Rob Angeles, founder and author of Social Media Philippines

Recently a few of my coworkers and I started a weekly social media forum here at The Proven Method to get a consistent conversation going about social media, because after all that is its basic premise. During the forums, everyone in the office comes together to ask questions and discuss topics about different elements of social media.

Important Social Media Predictions for Businesses in 2011

Social media is still rapidly developing, and because it’s so new there is little data to back up the significance it has in our lives. There are a lot of people who believe social media won’t be around for long, but I have to disagree with them. Social media is here to stay and those who choose to embrace it as soon as possible will reap the benefits.

"Because of your hard work and dedication"

"The contribution from The Proven Method Development team this past year have been tremendous. We've had many success in 2010. Projects like the Pilot, Project One, Store Mobility, Labor, VRA Cube, Pilot Remediation, Extended Sales, EDW Customer, MSR, Receipts, IPR, PO and the other Supply Chain efforts were all delivered because of your hard work and dedication. Thank you for being part of our EDW Development team.

I want you to know we have lots of new projects planned for 2011. It should be another busy year for the EDW. I look forward to continuing to work with each and everyone one of you."
