Project Management is an important aspect of The Proven Method's services. We work with our clients to achieve positive results on projects that range from developing websites to re-structuring methods of communication between employers and employees. It is very rewarding when we are able to take our clients through a project and know that we will be able to not only find effective solutions to their problems, but also develop solid relationships with them, allowing us to work with them in the future.
One of the most important aspects of Project Management is communication. We pride ourselves on having a team of dedicated team members that are successful at self management and stay accountable to their responsibilities, which really improves our results. But communication is not only important within The Proven Method team, it is also a vital component of success in working with our clients. I was able to talk with some of our Project Managers, in order to better understand how communication factors in to the development of a project, and they gave me valuable insight in to the challenges that they face, and how they overcome them. One challenge inherent to Project Management is that the components of a project can be intangible, meaning that they often involve discussion-based meetings that help identify problems and solutions, and establish game plans for project execution. We work to make sure that our clients understand that even though these preliminary steps do not give them a tangible product, they are necessary steps in any project development. In order to overcome this challenge it is important to us that we involve our clients in our process, so that they fully understand the importance of these aspects of development. Another challenge, that I mentioned before, can be communication. If there is a lack of communication, a project's development can be hindered when the final stage of a project is reached and it is revealed that a lack of communication led to an oversight in the development, causing a set-back in project completion. In order to overcome this challenge, we make sure to keep an open stream of communication within our office, as well as between ourselves and our clients.
Regardless of the challenges that we face, however, we remain dedicated to our clients so that they trust us to deliver the best possible results.
What are your experiences with Project Management challenges and how did you work to overcome them? We would love to hear your feedback!
